How to add a song to Connex
The Song view is divided into two parts:
A left hand menu where all the Versions are listed. Under each version you can also see all the submissions used to build up this Version. The left hand menu is also where you can use the 'Import' feature that can pull credits from any text input.
A composite view (click on the Version name) that is your Workspace. The composite view is built up from any submission you have received, and any manual edits or additions are done in this Workspace.
Clicking on any field in the Workspace will give you a dialogue that shows what data has been used for this field, e.g. from a credit submission or manual entry.
To manually create a song, choose the project you’d like to add the song to.
After this click on new song in the bottom right hand corner.
You will be asked for the title of the song and who the main artist is. Click on ‘Create’.
Your song is now created and ready for you to add audio + metadata.
