What is a song in Connex?

Songs hold not only the audio, they hold all the metadata associated with the song. They’re at the heart of Connex functionality.

You can have one or many versions of a song, for example an Album version,
radio edit or remix. Each version represents one sound recording.

You can create songs manually from the song list or from a credit submission in your inbox. When receiving submissions from the inbox, the version value from the submission will be used.
