Document ingestion (importing metadata)

When in a song, go to the left hand menu and click import.
Copy the unstructured data from your chosen document or message, then click preview.  

A version of the metadata from the documents or message will then be generated for you to review.  When you’re happy that the information has been extracted correctly click create. 

You will now have all the metadata populated in the song.

To add multiple songs at once, head to the inbox and click import.

Once Connex has analysed the data into songs, you can preview them before creating the songs.

You can then choose to move the metadata to an existing song , or create a new one adding it to a project.
